There’s something deeply personal and unique about a person’s handwriting which makes old cards and letters they’ve written so treasured. Our wooden photo blocks can be engraved with an exact copy of words from their hand, alongside their photograph, creating a reminder of them to cherish every day in your home or office.

The photo blocks make a thoughtful gift for someone who has experienced a loss or finds occasions like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day particularly hard. Each photo block is made to order in our New Forest workshop from sustainably sourced maple wood and finished with a protective cork base.

Simply upload your photo and send your handwritten message using the file upload button when you place your order. We will need a scan or clear photograph of the written message, ideally on a plain background. A short message works best, and we can select words from a longer letter or card if you’d like something pieced together.

Please note: We will include the full handwritten message you have supplied unless otherwise advised. If you would only like us to include part of the message on the coaster, please let us know when you place the order.

Vintage photos can also be used instead of digital ones; we will just need a clear photograph (taken without flash) or scan of the original.
