Heat-treated and ice-hardened to 61 HRC, the Kasumi polished blade offers very good edge retention. The curvier edge makes this knife especially suitable for rock-chopping, and the Kullenschliff (also known as Hollow-edge) on the blade helps prevent food from sticking to the blade. About Miyabi

Miyabi is Zwilling's answer to the superior quality of Japanese knives. Realising that it is simply impossible to catch up with Japanese knifemaking, Zwilling Group has decided to set up Zwilling Japan, and recruit local craftsmen to make Japanese knives using the tradition of the ancient masters. According to Zwilling, "Miyabi knives are authentic because MIYABI does not try to be Japanese; it really is Japanese."

Care:

Wash and dry with a soft sponge, and safely store after use. Avoid cutting into bones, frozen foods, hard fruit pits.

Cutting Surface:

Recommended cutting surface: wood, rubberized boards and high-end composites, and quality plastics such as polyethene make acceptable cutting surfaces, and will help protect and prolong knife’s edge. AVOID glass, metal, countertops, and other rigid, non-forgiving surfaces.

Sharpening:

We recommend sharpening all quality Japanese knives on whetstones, as we believe they yield the best results for your knives.

PERFECT HEAT TAPE
Number of Items: 6
Love this heat tape - it's clear so no worry about color transferring to products from heat transfer, very functional for these uses. I have ordered this several times and this is my product of choice for my sublimation needs. Sticks well to product, no residue left on products, easy to use, easy to remove after use, very durable for sublimation use.

Great tape for sublimation!
Number of Items: 4
Love love this tape. I used amber colored tape in the past and the color would transfer onto what I was making. This sticks well, is wide so it adds extra durability, and does not transfer color! If you’re just starting your sublimation journey, I highly recommend using this tape!

Great tape for using with a heat press. It doesn’t leave any marks and comes up easy. I use it for taping down sublimation stuff and have had no issues on slate, shirts, metal or anything I’ve made it sticks well and comes off easy.
