Sideshow presents the Pumpkin Witch Statue, the premiere collectible in the Happy HallowQueens Collection, an artist series inspired by the iconic style of acclaimed animation writer, director, and cartoonist Chris Sanders.

The Pumpkin Witch Statue measures 13.25" tall, standing on an autumn graveyard base, with fall foliage scattered around a leaning tombstone. The epitaph on the stone pays tribute to a pirate captain lost at sea, as a sly nod to another beloved Chris Sanders design. Meanwhile, a mischievous grey cat claws at the harvest mouse hiding in the witch’s jack-o’-lantern, adding a touch of whimsical action to the scene.

The polystone Pumpkin Witch Statue features a fully sculpted costume inspired by all the glamour and ghoulishness of the Halloween season. Her purple witch hat sits atop seafoam green curls of hair that match her eyes and frame her coy expression. The character also wears a deep blue leotard, matching gloves, and black shoes all with a glossy finish, contrasting her matte orange leggings that are patterned with black cats, bats, and pumpkins in a vintage Halloween style. It's not bad, but one minor issue FOR ME

There is nothing generally not to dislike about this WDT. Priced right. Good quality materials. But there are two issues that made me choose a different one, even before using this one: The entire top and bottom are straight cylindrical pieces. Ergonomically I would have to use more, larger muscle movement from my wrist to stir the beans. Not a big deal for some, but with other similar choices at the same price, I thought I would be better off with a different model. The second issue is that then the needles are placed back in the tall "recepticle", the top piece merely sits on top and isn't secured. For some that might be good because the top can be lifted out without any opposing force. OTOH, if it tips over it might expose the needles or need two hands to get it back together. If I didn't have other choices, I'd keep this one. I knew, without even using it that it wasn't for me... but it might be for someone else. Again, the materials are quite good and you can tell by the heft of the item. I elected to go with a similar concept, but a more contoured design with a knurled top and brushes on the inside of the recepticle to hold the needles and top in place, but also easy to extract for use. My choice over the Tiverain WDT was personal and has nothing to do with the quality of the product.
