As such, this device obviates the need for AA batteries and battery sleds, as well as the need for USB power. The former can often cost more money in the long run, while the latter doesn�t necessarily provide a secure enough connection for moving about in the field� obviously, no one wants to lose power in the middle of a shoot. Lightweight at 3.2 oz, the MX-POWERSLED can integrate into DC distribution systems, and can complement a bag rig replete with recorders, wireless receivers, and more, all powered by a single host.
