SURGEx S series is fabricated from stainless steel grade 304 as standard and is fitted internally with stainless steel bellows. The end connection of SURGEx S15 AA is male threaded size according to NPT. SURGEx S series can withstand pressures up to 400 PSIG (27. 6 BAR) and temperature range from 100F to 300F ( 73C to 149C).

SURGEx-S series can withstand pressures up to 400 PSIG (27.6 BAR) and temperature range from -100°F to 300°F (-73°C to 149°C).
OPERATION
SURGEx-S series water hammer arresters use stainless-steel bellows as the main component to absorb the shock waves caused by water hammer. When a water hammer occurs, the bellows compresses as water rushes into the arrester, creating a cushioning effect that absorbs the pressure surge. As the water flow slows down and pressure stabilizes, the bellows returns to its original position, ready to absorb the next water hammer.
