Api-Bioxal™ is a trusted oxalic acid-based treatment for effective Varroa mite control — delivering over 90% knockdown in brood-free colonies. Ideal for use during autumn/winter or after a brood break, it can be applied by dribble or vaporisation, with no withholding period.

Application:
- Dribble: Mix with 1:1 sugar syrup. Dribble 5 ml per seam of bees (max 50 ml/hive).
- Vaporisation: Use 2.3 g per hive, seal entrances, and vaporise as per your device’s instructions.
Important:
- Treat when brood is minimal for best results.
- Maximum 2 treatments per year, at least 5 days apart.
- Avoid disturbing the hive for 48 hours after treatment.
Safety:
Api-Bioxal™ is a Schedule 6 Poison — PPE is required (overalls, gloves, goggles, respirator for vaporisation). PPE equipment is available in-store and online.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Toxic to aquatic life.
Storage & Disposal:
- Store in a cool, dry place away from children and feed.
- Dispose of according to local regulations (drumMUSTER accepted for larger containers).
