Many of the Spanish colonists who settled in Chimayó after peaceful reentry to New Mexico in 1692 were descendants of those who left Castile and Extremadura. Nurtured by their faith and strengthened by the traditions and skills they brought from Spain, settlers converted a harsh environment into a fertile, green valley that provided them a livelihood for several generations. In 1810, Don Bernardo Abeyta, a prominent citizen of Chimayó, discovered a crucifix buried near a sacred well of healing earth, where he built a church. This is the site of present-day Santuario de Chimayó, also known as the "Lourdes of America." Over the centuries, the descendants of Chimayó colonists developed a unique weaving tradition that is also known throughout the world. Excelente para controlar el eczema
Compré este jabón porque mi esposo padece de eczema en el rostro y sinceramente ha sido un antes y un después para su piel. Mientras lo usa constantemente, su piel se mantiene mucho más sana, calmada y con menos brotes.
Lo único que notamos es que no puede usarlo en zonas donde la piel está normal, porque tiende a resecar bastante. Funciona mejor aplicado solo en las áreas afectadas. También vimos que si deja de usarlo por más de una semana, el eczema vuelve a aparecer, así que en su caso necesita usarlo con frecuencia para mantener la piel controlada.
Aun así, ha sido de los productos que más diferencia real le ha hecho.

Very strong perfumed scent
I wanted to love this soap as it sounds like it has a lot of skin loving ingredients, however when I opened the packaging I was immediately disappointed that there was a strong perfumed scent in the soap. I have extremely sensitive skin that flares up easily if I use scented products so unfortunately I didn’t try this soap because of the smell. I took off 3 stars due to the strong smell. If you like perfumed soaps this most likely won’t be an issue. It’s a decent sized bar so that’s definitely a positive note but because of the scent I was afraid to try it. If they make an unscented version of this soap I may give it a try as this one was a no go for me.

Omg! Wonderful sunscreen.
