Installation Guide
- Step 1: Center the hydrofoil stabilizer on top of the anti-ventilation plate of your outboard motor or stern drive.
- Step 2: Ensure the hydrofoil is positioned correctly and mark the locations for the four mounting holes.
- Step 3: Using the included 6.5mm drill bit, carefully drill the four marked holes through the anti-ventilation plate.
- Step 4: Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, aligning the holes. Insert the stainless steel bolts from the top and secure them with the nuts from underneath.
- Step 5: Tighten the bolts firmly but do not overtighten. Ensure the stabilizer is secure and does not move.
- Note for Volvo Drives: For certain Volvo models (SX-A, DPS, etc.), you may need to source longer bolts and a fender washer for proper installation.
