At the race circuit, high level of friction can be achieved along with high stability for an extended amount of time with the heat treatment. _x000D_ The 6 slots brake disc is adopted as standard in the HS type by considering various factors, such as pad wear, squeal and the removal effect of gas at the fading. | Remarks | RS _x000D_ The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ 12 slots version (HST type) is available as a special order. the surcharge of 12 slots is JPY6,000 (w / o tax). _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. True to Description - Excellent Watch
I've had this watch for about a week and am extremely pleased with it. It's been over 20 years since I actually owned a watch,I just didn't need one until after I retired and began losing track of time (not such a bad thing.) I was relying on my iPhone but got tired of having to take it out to see the time.. So I broke down and purchased this Women's T2N837 watch with white nylon band. I love the colorful numbers which makes it a 'happy' watch. The second hand is wonderful, and it keeps great time. It's as quiet as can be and so comfortable that I forget it's even on my wrist. I have small wrists but the face is not overwhelming, in fact it's just right. There are plenty of holes in the band to adjust to my small wrist. The white nylon band is getting a little dingy just from normal wear, but I figure I can wash it with some soft detergent and scrub it if I need to with a toothbrush. If it becomes too much, I can always purchase a color band to replace it. I recommend it for anyone who is thinking about purchasing a reliable, comfortable and inexpensive watch.

Timex should be ashamed

Bought this for my wife because she likes my Timex Weekender, but the 38mm is to large for her. I’m incredibly disappointed in the quality on hers.
- the crown/stem is incredibly hard to pull out due to the lack of any lubrication on the setting lever or clutch wheel. You can feel it when pulling the crown to set the time, that is if you can even pull it out. It’s stuck in the watch and you have to pull with such force it will break the crown off or the stems internal components will wear prematurely.
- the seconds hand doesn’t hit the markers which honestly is not a huge deal on a watch this price. It’s hit or miss for watches of any brand in this price range.
- the hour hand is misaligned. This is a issue and not acceptable no matter the price of the watch, especially for Timex.
I’m not happy at all and quite disappointed. Timex should be ashamed to sell a watch leaving the factory like this.

this is the perfect daily everyday use digital watch........

hands down the best edc digital watch available, this watch is everything you need at a quarter of the cost of other digital watches. we all know the durability of iron man watches its legendary, but where this watch beats even other iron man offerings is the size of the digital numbers displayed a bit larger for aging eyes and what makes it even more durable than the other iron man watch's is that the instructional labeling of the buttons is under the glass and wont fade or rub off under use making it look cleaner and newer for longer. now lets mention the size or foot print of this watch, i own several watches from competing brands and almost once a day i hit the watch on something a door knob a table corner, but when I'm wearing this Timex 40mm i never hit it on anything due to the thinness of the watch.
