Top and Back Set

Density guide (Light, Medium, Dense): Medium

This timber has been air dried and seasoned for at least 4 years and has reached an EMC of approximately 8%.

Blemishes/Defects: Old Dampwood Borer hole that can easily be avoided on side piece (photo 6 and 7). One back/top piece is thinner at top end - to 2.8mm, see photos.

Timber is part of nature and unlike man-made products it may have natural features that are undesirable for luthiers.
