This is original award group issued to a Wagner fighter serving with the ISIS Hunters in Syria, one of the most feared units of the conflict. The set includes the Medal “For Victory Over Terrorism,” complete with its official award document, individually numbered M-0389 and dated 23.02.2019. Alongside it are three further medals, the Medal “For Courage”, the Medal “For Combat Valour” and the Medal “For Strengthening Military Cooperation” Each medal is housed in its original case, all in excellent condition.
Although Syrian in origin, these awards were presented directly to Wagner fighters embedded with the ISIS Hunters, a special formation created in 2017 with Wagner training and Russian support. Wagner personnel were central to key operations in Palmyra, Deir ez-Zor, and the securing of vital energy infrastructure, earning these medals in frontline combat against ISIS.
Complete sets awarded to a single Wagner fighter, with both document and cases intact, are very scarce today. Most surviving examples have been broken apart and sold individually, but here the rare group of medals has remained together.
For serious collectors of PMC Wagner, private military history, and modern Middle Eastern conflicts, this set represents one of the rarest and most historically significant award groups of the 21st century, a direct battlefield-linked grouping from Wagner’s Syrian campaign.
