Straight from the close-up act of prolific magic inventor and television consultant, Alan Rorrison, Prohibition Monte is the perfect fusion of three of magic's most amazing card routines:
- The Two Card Monte
- The Anniversary Waltz, and
- The Torn and Restored Card
Here's what happens:
- You explain that during the prohibition era, conmen used half-sized torn cards in an attempt to circumvent gambling laws that prohibited backstreet games using regular, full-sized playing cards.
- You remove two visually different torn half cards from your wallet and show them front and back.
- The spectator is asked to "follow the lady" and keep their eyes on the Queen.
- You cleanly and fairly place the Queen in your EMPTY pocket and ask the spectator where the Queen is; in the hand or in the pocket?
- The answer seems SO obvious, but the spectator will consistently get it wrong. UNTIL you want them to win, of course
- To give the spectator an advantage, you allow them to sign the faces of BOTH half-cards to make them easier to follow. You repeat the challenge but to their amazement (and increasing frustrations) they're still deceived by which card is where!
- For the grand finale, both half-cards are placed between the hands of the spectator where the two counterparts fuse together to make a single, full size, mis-matched, DOUBLE SIGNED card!

Flimsy and cheap

This is the second time I bought a purse online... First was on temu ... Expected to be trash and it was... So I bought this one... And idk what's worse, the temu purse or this one.. only buying them in person from now on unless Its 100% obviously sturdy and of good quality. The fabric and entire purse itself is cheap thin fabric .. not only does it feel cheap it looks cheap. I'm not one to write comments but I'd return it if I wasn't so damn lazy... It feels like the play purses your parents would give you as a kid. Not worth the money. I guess it has pockets, but I feel like my things would be sitting on the floor even though my purse is a barrier and feels like my belongings are not protected in the slightest... Especially not a laptop as advertised.

Beautiful and Well Made

Remarkable and well made top. It fits perfectly, is super soft and of substantial fabric. The color (royal blue) is vibrant and looks like the picture. It is made and feels like a much more expensive top you would find in an upscale shop. It wears well and you are never hot, just wonderful.

Top is great, better than the expensive designer top I bought. Fabric is so very soft, not super thin and just the right size. I bought a med and it fit perfectly, just right under a jacket or separate. It’s pure white with some stretch if you want a. Lose fit.

Unbelievable shirt for the money!

Love these and perfect for European Spring
Color: White, Size: Medium
Very nice for travel. They rolled up perfectly and fit easily into my compression bags. Best of all, they didn’t wrinkle after a 14-hour flight. The material is soft and heavy enough for spring weather in Porto. I wore both colors there in April.
I got a spot on the brown one, and it came right out. It also dried quickly without leaving a water stain. I probably wouldn’t wear them in Georgia during the summer.
The white is more of a cream color, and the brown is a beautiful chocolate brown. The sizing was accurate. I’m 5’6” and 150 lbs, and the medium fits loosely without looking baggy. It also works well worn untucked over pants. I would definitely purchase again.
