An ensemble so good, it deserves a PARADE! Feast your eyes upon this FANTASTIC vintage Jean Paul Gaultier set from Fall/Winter 1996, shown here documented on the runway. This remarkable set comes with both the jacket and the pants, of course, and has the most insane futuristic/cyber vibes. The jacket comes in a slightly stretchy neoprene like fabric and features pieced panels of jet black velvet. Intricate, adjustable corded lacing details (with extra long cords) at the arms and back, as well as piping and trimmings throughout. Cheongsam inspired collar with a frog closure at the neck. Zip front closure with threaded ball bead pull. Jacket is unlined. Now, onto the pants... which are just WOW. Comprised of the same materials as the jacket and also featuring the same ultra cool placement of pieced velvet panels. High waist. Corded lacing along the sides, again, with extra long cords. Zip closure at back center. And the best part- the extreme elephant bells at the bottom. This ensemble is a complete work of art, and with the original tag still attached, it has never been previously used/worn.
