INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to the Set Out & Assemble Partitions for Useable Spaces course. This course only includes a challenge assessment designed to assess your knowledge and skills required to demonstrate competence in planning, setting out, cutting, preparing, assembling and securing partitions for useable spaces in accordance with work instructions, drawings, specifications, workplace procedures, material requirements and safety controls.

Setting out and assembling partitions for useable spaces involves interpreting plans, preparing the work area, selecting tools, equipment, PPE, materials, components, fixings and fasteners, and applying accurate set-out, marking, cutting, connection and assembly processes. In real workplace practice, this skill area is important because partitions must be located correctly, assembled square and plumb, secured within set-out tolerances and constructed to suit prefabricated, demountable, timber or metal partition systems, including intersections, window panels and door panels.

The course assessment focuses on your ability to plan, prepare and sequence partition assembly; apply national construction codes, Australian Standards, WHS, environmental, legislative, manufacturer, workplace, drawing and specification requirements; select and check tools, equipment and PPE; inspect worksites, locate services and control hazards; select materials, calculate quantities and handle materials safely; set out and mark partition locations; cut, distribute and stack components; mark connection locations to designed spacings; install fixings and fasteners to secure junctions tight, flush and within tolerances; assemble partitions square and plumb; assemble prefabricated and demountable timber or metal partitions; incorporate L-shape intersections, T intersections, window panels and door panels; and complete clean-up, waste, materials handling, maintenance and storage requirements.

By successfully completing this course assessment, you will have demonstrated that you can set out and assemble partitions for useable spaces by interpreting work requirements, applying safety and workplace controls, selecting and preparing tools and materials, accurately setting out and marking partition locations, cutting and positioning components, fixing member junctions, assembling partition systems to specification and completing final clean-up, waste, maintenance and storage activities according to workplace procedures.

Moisture Without the Grease
Scent: Unscented, Size: 20.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 3)
This unscented Vaseline lotion truly provides long lasting moisture for dry skin It’s rich but absorbs quickly & doesn't leaving greasy or sticky residue. The only negative is the T-shaped pump head — I find it a bit awkward to use. Still, the formula itself is excellent.
