Exploring Creation with Botany, 2nd Edition, is part of the award-winning Young Explorer Series–voted the #1 homeschool science curriculum for over 11 years in a row.

Understanding how plants and animals (including humans) were meant to interact for their created purposes helps us spread the beauty of God everywhere we go.

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

This Charlotte Mason styled living book will help you cultivate a love of learning in your homeschool as you study God’s incredible world of plants. Written in the Apologia conversational style, this hands-on and engaging botany course begins with a lesson on the nature of botany and the process of classifying plants. It then discusses the development of plants from seeds, the reproduction processes in plants, the way plants make their food, and how plants get their water and nutrients and distribute them throughout the body of the plant. As students study these topics, they also learn about many types of plants in creation and where they belong in the plant classification system.

When your family reads this science book you are studying important information discovered by great scientists throughout history. Keeping a student Notebooking Journal helps your child to document studies in their own words. Additionally, participating in science activities builds upon that knowledge as your child conducts their own scientific studies. It is our prayer that at the end of the year your child will have gained a deeper appreciation for and understanding of the beauty of creation.

As Advertised
Size: 19inch
The product seems well constructed and rolls easily when wheels are unlocked, even with full weight. Had windy conditions recently and the umbrella was held steady.

Seems like a good product, could use a couple improvements...
Size: 19inch
Product seems fine so far, and the adjustable size for the pole is good. Areas for improvement are a larger fill valve so you could fill sand with something other than a teaspoon. Also would have been better if all four wheels had locks and not just two.

Some assembly required. Rolls easily in direction of wood grain on a deck. Very difficult to roll sideways across gaps in deck boards.

Great toy!
Color: Grass Green, Size: Medium
We have a boxer and pit mix and he destroys everything. This toy however lasted the longest. He played with this every day and he plays very rough. But after 3 months I finally threw it out. It was still in tact but it was about to start falling apart. I will definitely buy another one.
