Installation note: Changing rod bolts requires your local machine shop to rebuild the large end completely. They must resize the bore and reface the sides of the large end to align the cap and rod and to get the rod bearing bore perfectly round and properly sized. Also, the outside diameter of the knurled sections just under the head of the bolt that lock it into the rod cap, and further down the shank of the rod bolt which align the rod cap to the rod itself can vary in diameter and may need to be re-sized to fit properly. For these reasons we recommend professional installation only.
