A delicious Pinot Gris with lifted aromas of fresh apple and nectarine, warm brioche and spice. Beautifully rounded flavours of pear, and a hint of citrus leads to a lovely fresh off dry finish that lingers. At its best over the next three to four years.
The Edwin Fox is a Historical East Indiaman style ship built in Bengal in 1853. She is the 9th oldest ship afloat in the world today and the last surviving wooden immigrant ship to New Zealand. She now resides on the Picton foreshore at the gateway to the picturesque Marlborough Sounds.
Food Pairing: Well matched with tiger prawns with tomato and basil sauce or light seafood risotto.
