Ortho Iron Vegan is a vegan and lactoferrin-free version of Ortho Iron, AOR’s award winning iron formula. It includes synergistic nutrients that are necessary for proper iron absorption, and is useful for treating iron-deficiency anemia. Ortho Iron Vegan is well tolerated, and doesn’t tend to cause the side effects common to iron supplements such as nausea or constipation.

Anemia is the most common blood disorder in the world and is characterized by a reduced number of red blood cells. There are several different types of anemia, including iron deficiency anemia which is a result of low iron levels, and pernicious anemia which is caused by vitamin B12 and folate deficiency.
