We source beans that have been decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, allowing caffeine to be removed from the bean by gently soaking it in a water solution. The caffeine is absorbed in the water, chemical free, and is filtered until virtually all (99.9%) of the caffeine is removed from the bean. We believe that this is the superior decaffeinating process because nasties aren’t used to decaffeinate the bean and strip the taste.
