Banovich Art represents the multi-talented artist, Stefan Savides. Stefan’s life is all about birds. He has never worked a day that he was not recreating birds in one form or another. While taxidermy, a profession in which he has worked his way to the top, earning international acclaim, has been a mainstay for most of his adult life, this multitalented artist, from a young age, has painted, carved and sculpted birds from around the world.

Sculpting in bronze is a natural progression from Savides’ taxidermy, as it provides a lasting expression of his knowledge of avian anatomy and design. Years of intense study, coupled with flair for simplistic design equates to renderings that capture the essence of his subjects in elegant works of art. Stefan’s exquisite work is without the distraction of overbearing detail, brought to life by the hands of a master sculptor. Stefan is truly a multitalented artist who has proven himself in a variety of mediums.

“While it was fifty years of avian taxidermy that fine-tuned my eye for bird anatomy, my artistic sense compelled me to sculpt in a style that omitted so much realistic detail, a factor essential in a mounted bird. As I embarked on my sculpture career, I vowed never to create bronze taxidermy.” -Stefan Savides

Amazing first issue
Format: Kindle
I’ve been a huge fan of Spencer Ackerman since his reporting days, his incredible book “Reign of Terror” and his DC comics work on Waller vs Wildstorm. Now I’m so excited to see him writing for Marvel. I can’t wait to see all the political intrigue and social commentary he’s going to weave into this story!

Childhood fans of Michelinie Iron Man and Mantlo Hulk are creating this
Format: Kindle
So. It's adult, real-world based, and suspenseful. As a child I could afford only to buy a few comics a month with the little.money I earned. Mantlo Hulk and Michelinie/Layton Iron Man were two of the five or six comics I bought. So glad I took a chance on checking this out. Looks like I will be reading a current series this year. A lot happens in just this one issue, both mental sparring and physical bang-ups. Nice blend of food for thought and eye candy. I'm excited for the rest of the series.

Takin’ Care Of Business!
Format: Kindle
While I thoroughly enjoyed the previous run of Iron Man, a comic I stay at least in the know as best as I can, I have a feeling that this is going to be even better.

Getting There
Format: Kindle
The let’s take Stark’s company plot is getting old, but at least this time they’re showing that Tony Stark ‘s major asset is his intellect. Still leaning too much into the Stark is an alcoholic canon, which even the writers of that arc admit was a mistake that they hadn’t thought out fully; a mistake that sucked the fun out of Invincible Iron Man for decades until Robert Downey Jr portrayed the character on the big screen, and writers on the comic started to write Stark to resemble the character as originally written. I do not like the art design on Tony Stark on this run at all. The feeble Howard Hughes look doesn’t fit Tony Stark at all, but if the story gets better, I can live with it. The art will change with the next team anyway. Ackerman seems to at least like Tony Stark and he seems to understand him; two things that were definitely not the case with Cantwell. Issue one didn’t put me off, and I’m invested enough to continue and see where it goes. At this stage with many Marvel titles that’s saying a lot.
