Cavision 4 x 5.65 Matte Box Package with 15mm Front Bracket for DSLR Cameras

The 4x5.65 Matte Box Package from Cavision is suitable for the Panasonic AF100, Blackmagic Cinema Camera, and most DSLRs with lens diameters less than 100mm. This package includes a 4x5.65 hard shade clamp-on matte box, 120 to 100mm plastic insert ring, expandable top flap and a pair of side flaps, a donut-style adapter ring for lenses with 60 to 95mm diameter, and a swing-away component with 15mm rod support.

The matte box has a 120mm rear-mount opening that can be stepped down to 100mm via the plastic insert ring. It features two filter stages�one fixed and one 270° rotating, which is used with polarizing and graduated filters. The stages can accept a 4x4" or 4x5.65" glass or resin filter with a maximum thickness of 4mm (not included). The expandable side flaps and top flap block unwanted light and allow for maximum flare protection.

The swing-away component features a front bracket that attaches to the matte box. It allows you to swing the matte box away, providing easy access to the lens. It also adds a 15mm rod support to the matte box.

  The Cavision MB4512-H2 is a wide 16x9 Hard Shade Matte Box. Matte boxes control light better than a regular lens shade and offer the videographer the ability to use high quality 4x4 and 4x5.65 glass filters for image effects.

  Wide Hard Shade

  The wide hard shade used with this matte box system allows 16:9 aspect ratios and will accept 4x5.65 and 4x4 filters.

  4x4 and 4x5.65 Filters

  4x4 Glass Filters can be used with one stationary holder and one rotating for polarizers and gradient filters. This unit will accept wider 4x5.65 filters for 16:9 aspect ratios and HDTV.

• ADU100-D50 Universal Donut Adapter Ring for 60 to 95mm Lenses

  Cavision's Universal Lens Donut Adapter Ring snaps into select matte boxes with a 100mm rear opening and serves as an anti-reflection donut for lenses with an outer diameter between 60 to 95mm. It utilizes a flexible fabric that allows for lens travel so it is suitable for use with lenses that exhibit up to two inches of lens travel when focusing or zooming. The flexible fabric features a draw string and cord lock.

  Suitable for DSLR or other external focus lenses as well as internal focus lenses without lens travel.

  The flexible fabric provides an adjustable opening that you tighten to the lens to prevent light from behind the matte box flaring filters and degrading your image.
