The kit has a 1.3m long cable which will give you more flexibility in positioning devices in the dash area or centre console.
The adapter kit is hardwired to the 12 volt fuse panel in the vehicle. It then converts to 5 volts through a USB or micro USB plug so you can power a device. A micro USB adapter is included with the kit.
If the vehicle uses blade fuses then wiring can be made easier using the SF-5115 or SF-5125 blade fuse sockets, which patch into the fuse panel.
