The instantly recognisable slab sided wedge with a truncated pyramid for a cabin is essential reading in any model car library. Pop up lights complete the look. Presented in Tokyo 1983 as the SV-3 concept car, it won approval from everyone and their dog, allowing Toyota to proceed to production with the design intact. Today the 2022 fuel price surge brings back memories of the late 1970’s from which the MR2 concept was born, which meant that it to be economical, reliable as well as a great driving experience to survive. It proved an extraordinary success by providing a metric ton of drivable fun whilst weighing less than that. Placing the engine in the middle and forgetting about luxuries like luggage and children (hence Midship Runabout 2 seater or MR2) means that no-one who has driven one forgets it.

Not completely indestructible but definitely long-lasting with plastic bits everywhere

It's destructible it just takes a long time and tons of tiny little plastic pieces everywhere and even in your dog's stomach would not recommend due to wear and tear on dog's teeth and the plastic chips off.

Yes, it will get destroyed. No, it isn't a waste of your money.

Okay, I just wanted to say I've bought this item three times even tho my huge super chewer dogs inevitably destroy it, and here's why: It's NOT a chew toy!
Pretty much *ANY* toy will not survive a strong chewer unless it is made from an indestructible material, and indestructible materials are often dangerous for doggy teeth.
The noises this thing makes entices dogs to be extra violent on it.
The trick is, you need to supervise them with the toy and if they move from chasing/bouncing it to "gnawing furiously" remove it and replace it with a safe treat toy to chew on (like a rawhide or antler, or a kong stuffed with frozen/difficult to remove treats) to satisfy their chewing needs on a safer item. This will extend the life of the toy. This way, the only damage it takes is from them mouthing/throwing it, which is what it is designed to withstand. This method is the only safe way to play with just about any play toy if you have SUPER chewers.
There are many toys out there that will last longer, however, this one makes noise and that is super valuable to enrich your dogs' life. In essence, you're paying (insert current price of this item) to get several hours of SUPERVISED play time out of this toy over the course of several months.
As far as noise makers go, this is only one of two toys I have found to hold up long enough to be worth the price. Go for it.
