The MuxLab 500030 Stereo PC-Audio Balun allows transmission of unbalanced line level stereo analog audio in a point-to-point configuration up to 5000� (1525m) via Cat5/6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable.
With built-in 3.5mm line-level stereo output, the balun connects to audio equipment such as PC sound cards, active speakers, DVD, camcorders, audio mixers, audio matrix switchers, audio splitters, audio distribution amplifiers, boosters, satellite receivers, MP3 players, laptops, stereo audio amplifiers, audio switchers, integrated TV monitors, and multi-media servers where midrange audio frequency response is required.
The compact balun measures 1.875 x 1.0" in diameter and has an enclosure made of ABS fire retardant plastic. Besides using Cat 5E/6 as a cost-effective alternative, the balun also makes changes or additions to outlet connections faster and easier.
Providing hassle-free cabling solution, the PC-Audio balun works in conjunction with other MuxLab products such as the 500019, 500001, 500012, 500017, 500027, 500028, and 500200. It is suitable for use in boardroom systems, classroom training, auditoriums, custom home installations, and media servers.
