COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Write a Training Instructional Plan course. This program has been designed to equip you with the knowledge, tools and structured processes required to design professional, engaging and outcomes-driven training programs. You will explore what a training instructional plan is, how learning objectives are written, how to organise training content, and how to develop instructor and participant materials that support delivery. This course also examines training design philosophies, sequencing methods, development time estimates and planning approaches that ensure training is well-structured, logically organised and aligned with organisational needs.

This course begins by examining what a training instructional plan is and what learning objectives are. You will explore why setting learning objectives is essential, the different types of learning objectives and the characteristics that make objectives effective. This section also examines the components of an objective, how to write learning objectives and the correct format for constructing them. You will explore how to use an objective worksheet to clarify expected learning outcomes and how this tool guides the remainder of the instructional planning process.

The next learning area focuses on writing an instructional plan and the philosophies that guide high-quality training design. You will explore the training program design philosophy, the time required to develop a training program and typical estimates for development hours per classroom hour in an instructor-led course. This section examines the major components of training program design and how to create a design matrix to ensure alignment between objectives, content, activities and assessments. You will explore the importance of determining topic content, why research must occur before content is created and how mind mapping supports idea generation.

A further learning area examines sequencing and structuring training content. You will explore guidelines that help you make decisions about the order of content and activities, the behaviour-modelling training approach, the sequential training approach, the job-order training approach, the priority training approach and the topical training approach. This section also examines the purpose of an instructional plan and the practical components that must be included to guide both trainers and learners through the program.

Another learning area focuses on the structural components of instructional plans. You will explore the program overview, the instructional guide and the ways to indicate the use of training aids without writing them out in full. This section also examines the different types of instructional methods, what to consider when selecting delivery methods and how method selection affects learner engagement, comprehension and retention. You will explore the importance of aligning instructional methods with learning objectives, learner needs, time constraints and resources.

The final learning area examines how to develop trainer and participant materials. You will explore what to include in trainer materials—such as lesson plans, prompts, instructions, timing and facilitation notes—and what to include in participant materials, such as handouts, worksheets, reference documents and activity instructions. This section reinforces the importance of clarity, consistency and usability in materials to ensure smooth delivery and strong learner outcomes.

By the end of this course you will be able to write clear learning objectives, design instructional plans using structured methodologies, organise and sequence content effectively, choose appropriate instructional methods, create comprehensive materials and deliver training that is purposeful, organised and aligned with measurable workplace learning goals.

Works Well, Easy to Clean, Just Watch Stove Temp
Color: Linen Gray
I bought this set to replace a stainless steel set I have after the nickel in the stainless steel cookware starting leeching into my food and causing some pretty severe reactions. I made sure to read the instructions that came with this ceramic-coated cookware before use, and made a note to not heat it on high - I have cast iron for that anyway. I appreciate how light weight this cookware is, and how easy it is to clean with soap and water - I don't put my cookware in the dishwasher. So far it appears to work well making sauces, heating vegetables, cooking pasta, but I do have to plan a little extra time to get water to boil, of course. One thought for the designers - it would be helpful if the lids fit more than 1 pot. It would be nice, for instance, for the large pot lid to fit the large skillet for sauces that need to simmer and/or reduce for a while. Overall, this cookware is an extremely good value and I'd purchase it again.

Great value, well made, but get the stainless ones for max performance on induction.
Color: Ivory
Good quality but they don't heat up as fast as the stainless steel amazon basics cookware i also have, my induction stove can boil water in less than 2 minutes with stainless, but the ceramic takes much longer, but still fast. I'm not sure of how much safer the ceramic is vs teflon pans, as ceramic is not a standardized thing. Overall i'm pleased and great value for the money

Looks good and the non-stick is great.
Color: Ivory
I really like the look of this cookware. The non-stick is great and cleanup is easy. I do notice a few scrapes in the pans. I am very careful about the utensils I am use on them so not sure what happened. But it is not too bad and not a game changer. I would like lids for all the pans so I hope those are available for purchase. Overall I am pleased.

Great quality and value
Color: Linen Gray, Color: Linen Gray
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics ceramic nonstick set regularly, and it performs really well. Food cooks evenly and doesn’t stick, and cleanup is quick. The handles stay cool, and everything feels sturdy. Looks luxe. Color looks great! For the price, it’s a solid, reliable set.

Excellent pans
Color: Linen Gray
Ceramic coating, aluminum body with steel plate on the bottom for induction cooking. Used these on an induction hot plate and they worked better than the stainless steel pans I had tried before. They have a nice heft, without being heavy. Made in Luxembourg according to the tag on the bottom. Very good looking pans.
