The genome sequences were a result of the Plasmodium falciparum Genome Project.This book covers in detail the biology of malaria parasites and the mosquitoes that transmit the disease, how the Genome Projects came into being, the people who created them, and the cadre of scientists who are attempting to see the promise of the Projects realized. The promise was: a more complete understanding of the genes of the parasite (and its vector) would provide a rational basis for the development of antimalarial drugs and vaccines, allow a better understanding of the regulation of the complex life cycle in the red blood and liver cells of the human, identify the genes the parasite uses to thwart the host immune response and the ways in which the parasite evades cure by drug treatments, as well as leading to more effective measures of control transmission. The hope was that cracking the genetic code of Plasmodium and Anopheles would reveal the biochemical Achilles heel of the parasite and its vector, leading to the development of novel drugs and better methods of control, and by finding the targets of protective immunity could result in the manufacture of effective vaccines.Through a historic approach, this book will allow for those new to the field, or those with insufficient background in the sciences, to have an easier entry point. Love this!

I recently received this christian daily devotional book and here’s my quick thoughts on it:
I think that the condition of the book is great and it doesn’t feel cheap or like it would rip very easily. I think this is a good quality paper and material.
I admire this daily devotional book because it is something great to read as soon as you wake up, preparing your day under Christs’ armor. I actually have another daily devotional book which is a year long and it gives encouragement through scripture directly from the word of God. That book is great and it’s amazing reading as soon as I wake up every morning.
This book is nothing short of how good that one is and I just love how this one is structured.
Overall, I highly recommend this every day Christian devotional book to anyone looking for one and even as a gift for someone! I love this!

A Beautiful, Gospel-Filled Devotional for Every Season
Format: Paperback
I have truly been enjoying reading Everyday Gospel Easter Devotional and applying the teachings to my own life. This devotional has been so helpful in fueling my faith and deepening my understanding of the incredible gift that Jesus gave us all on the cross.
What I really love is that this isn’t something you can only use during Easter. It can absolutely be read and treasured year-round. The lessons are rich, meaningful, and rooted deeply in Scripture.
It begins with teachings from Genesis and ends with Revelation, so you really get to journey through the Bible from beginning to end. I’ve learned so much and gained fresh insight into God’s redemptive plan throughout Scripture.
This devotional is perfect for babes in Christ as well as those who are mature in the faith. It presents biblical truth in a way that is easy to understand, yet still powerful and spiritually enriching.
I would definitely recommend this devotional to anyone wanting to grow deeper in their faith and better understand the Gospel message. It’s a beautiful reminder of the hope we have in Christ.

I use it on the countertop instead of inside of the cabinets. Looks nice enough to sit out.

Awesome Spice Rack!

This works perfectly. I bought two as I have a lot of spices. Do need to remember that the height needed for unit is 9 inches, but with full size spice jars on top rack, you need at least 11 inches. Otherwise it works great. Smooth movement of the drawers. Very sturdy and stable.
