The Oyster Perpetual is described on the official Rolex website as “a direct descendant of the first Oyster, introduced in 1926, which established Rolex’s reputation as the world’s first water-resistant wristwatch”.
The Oyster Perpetual was one of Rolex’s three major inventions, the Oyster case, which was water-resistant and extremely durable, and the Oyster Perpetual, which was the original Rolex model with its self-winding perpetual mechanism with a bi-directional rotor.
The Oyster Perpetual Date adds a calendar function to the Oyster Perpetual, making it even more practical.
The bezel is a simple smooth bezel. The smooth bezel is unadorned, which gives it a clean, dressy look and feel.
The small case diameter of 34mm for men’s watches and the light weight make this watch very suitable for daily use.
White dial with roman hour marker, gold coloring of hands and crown logo are simple but luxurious design.
The movement is Cal.3135.
It continues to be evaluated as one of the best movements in the watch industry even now that about 30 years have passed since it was announced.
It is a movement with a very high degree of perfection in terms of the ease of maintenance and the ability to keep its accuracy permanently with regular maintenance.
It is also used in the Submariner Ref.16610 and 116610LN, and it is a movement that can be said to be so complete that there is no need to change its design.
It comes with a 78350 hard bracelet called an Oyster bracelet.
It is a sturdy stainless steel bracelet made for a sporting Rolex, and although it is heavier than a rivet or winding bracelet, it is more robust and durable and will last a long time.
Originally, the crystal glass of the Ref. 15200 had a crown watermark on it, but this one has a generic glass.

It's Tight but Mostly Right
It is prophetic for it continues to in the here and now. The language is harsh and often accusatory. Great amount of time spent on the oppressor...but not so much on the oppressor with blacks themselves. I do believe White mite learn a thing or two about black oppression. I do believe black should refresh our memory of the need to come together as a nation of the same hue to give America a clue about the blacks from God's point of view.

Insightful
Format: Kindle
Reverend Cone did a great job putt pin to paper and developing this book. He wrote over five decades ago and it is very relevant today. Rev. Cone wrote this book in such manner that until we end racism and oppression in this country, this book will remain relevant for years to come.
