This violet brocade Lenten pulpit fall portrays the Agnus Dei—the Bound Lamb of God—set within a graceful architectural arch and adorned with the sacred plea, Kyrie Eleison (“Lord, have mercy”). The intricate lattice motif surrounding the central medallion recalls the woven mystery of salvation, while the arch represents the Church as the gateway to heaven.

The Bound Lamb reminds us of Christ’s humility and willing sacrifice:
