Our woven reproduction grain sack fabric offers timeless farmhouse charm reminiscent of traditional, French vintage grain sack textiles, featuring authentic irregularities and an aged aesthetic.

This fabric is woven, making it both easy to care for and wash (the stripes are woven in, not printed). It can be used for a range of home fashions, such as upholstery, drapery, curtains, bedding, and table linens, as well as crafts and apparel, such as aprons and vintage-style coats.

Repeat: There are 10 sets of stripes with the first set approx. 1.5" from the edge and the following are approx. 3 1/2" apart.

Fabric Weight: Heavy Weight approx. 1.2 lb. per yard
Contents: 70% Cotton, 30% Polyester 
Width: 54"
Maximum Continuous Length: 12 yards
Washing Instructions:  Wash and dry on delicate.  Allow for 10% shrinkage.  Dry clean to avoid shrinkage.  This fabric washes very well and develops an even softer hand with each washing. 

When ordering this fabric for a project, carefully estimate the amount needed as there are typically variations in dye lots. To acquire a vintage grain sack look, slight bleaching, and intentional imperfections are included in the manufacturing process. A faint odor from processing may be present; however, it dissipates with airing or washing.

Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
