- An Idea Conceived in Carbon: The Phoenix began its life as a carbon lugged prototype. A carbon frame test bed allowed us to develop faster, iterate more efficiently, and ultimately push our prototype as close as possible to the finished product. The result is a bike that is both radically new and elegantly refined.
- A Story Written at the World Cup: The original Phoenix soared to success on the world’s stage year after year. How do you follow up that kind of downhill demon? By putting its replacement through the same gauntlet. Pivot Factory Racing piloted the Phoenix prototype on the World Cup circuit and pushed it to its breaking point — literally — at Crankworx Rotorua, gaining invaluable real-world insights that honed the production bike.
- Ready for the Rough Stuff: With a mid-high pivot, six-bar dw-link suspension design and 210mm of travel, the Phoenix rips over bumps big and small and boasts unmatched stability on descents. The striking dual-chain drive runs smooth and silent, boosts efficiency, and ensures virtually no pedal kickback.
- Business, Meet Party: An MX wheel setup comes standard, putting a smooth-rolling 29-inch up front and a flickable 27.5-inch in the back. It’s a healthy serving of stability with a generous side of agility; calculation with improvisation; steak with cake.
- Flip It Good: Dial in your setup with the Pivot Flip Chip and switch between ‘high’ for conquering rocky and technical courses or ‘low’ for maximum speed on the descent. Use the Suspension Flip Chip to control the coil-over shock progressivity to help you tackle the steepest and roughest terrain.
- Comfort Within Reach: With a reach adjust headset and the 4 frame sizes offered, riders can fine tune their reach from 430mm–525mm in 5–10mm increments.

Sleek Kitchen Essential One Handed Paper Towel Dispenser

The Ultrean paper towel holder is a countertop accessory designed for convenience featuring a sturdy stainless steel construction that wipes clean easily and blends into any kitchen or bathroom decor. It stands upright on a weighted non slip base that provides stability during use and it is equipped with a spring loaded arm intended to assist with one handed tearing. The assembly is very straightforward making it quick to set up right out of the box so you can start using it immediately for your daily cleaning tasks.
I found this holder very easy to put together and integrate into my space and it definitely adds a nice modern touch to my kitchen counters. While it is marketed as a one handed tear dispenser I have noticed that it depends on the type of paper towels you are using. If I am using thinner cheaper rolls the tear is effortless but with my preferred thick Bounty paper towels the tension is not always enough to tear them off cleanly with just one hand so I usually end up holding it down to get a clean rip.
The major pros of this dispenser are the weighted non slip base that keeps it from sliding around and the stainless steel finish that makes maintenance simple with just a quick wipe. The main con is that it struggles with heavy duty paper towels often requiring two hands to tear without tipping or pulling the whole roll which might be frustrating if you are expecting a true one handed experience every single time. Still it is a functional and attractive piece that keeps my kitchen organized and as long as you do not mind using both hands for the thicker brands it is a solid addition to any home.

A Paper Towel Holder That Actually Holds Its Own
Color: Gold
This is a lot nicer than I expected for something as boring as a paper towel holder. The base has some real weight to it, so it doesn’t slide around every time you try to tear off a sheet. The spring-loaded arm also helps keep the roll from spinning freely.
The gold finish looks good in person. It leans a little more bronze/brassy than bright gold, which my wife prefers in our darker colored kitchen. It feels sturdy, wipes clean easily, and doesn’t look cheap sitting on the counter.
The one-handed tearing works pretty well, though it may depend on the paper towels you use. Thinner rolls tear off easily. With thicker paper towels, you may still need a second hand here and there to get a clean rip. We use the Costco branded Kirkland paper towel rolls and haven't had any issues getting just one sheet. I am guilty of yanking at our old paper towel with one hand roll to try and rip off a single sheet. My success rate has significantly increased since we started using this paper towel holder.
It’s definitely more expensive than a basic paper towel holder, but it also feels like a clear upgrade from the cheap flimsy ones. Would I normally buy this? Probably not, but if I am splurging on kitchen upgrades, then I'd definitely have this on my list.

Pretty gold tone color and works well

This is great for lazy people like myself. Just pull back the grabber hand and drop the paper towels in, no unscrewing anything or fiddling around, I only want to spend one second installing my paper towels and this lets me do that. The gold tone works well with my decor, it has a very finely brushed gold tone metal finish trending into brass color tones that looks better in person than in the listing. Overall it looks very high end. The bottom is very heavily weighted, paper towels slip right on, and removing a towel with one hand is a snap. The grabber hand keeps the towels in place. On the bottom are 4 very effective grabby strips that keep the unit from sliding. The whole unit weighs 3 pounds but somehow it seems like it's a lot more. Checking over the listing, it looks accurate other than some of the photos make it look a little less golden than it really is. This thing is so nice. I was going to use this at work but it might be too nice looking for an industrial environment so I'll probably just use it at home instead.
The downsides on this are there were a few super tiny scratches that you'd really have to squint to see. You probably would not notice but still not ideal. The other obvious issue is these are currently priced at $50. Looking around at other options, I don't see many with all the features of this unit including upscaled finish, smoothly operating grabby hand, and heavily weighted bottom but certainly there are many other towel holder options that get good reviews for less money so I would not say this unit is the best economic bang for the buck. However if you really don't care about an extra $20 or you would really like an upscale nice brushed gold/brass finish, then it might be well worth it for you because this does work really well and I am very much enjoying it.

Solid Investment

At first I thought this was a little expensive for a paper towel holder, but after using it for a few days, I completely understood the price. It’s very sturdy and honestly delightfully functional in a way that basic holders just aren’t. The spring-loaded arm works really well and actually allows easy one-handed tearing without the whole thing tipping or unraveling.
A few things I liked:
Weighted base keeps it firmly in place
Non-slip bottom works well on countertops
Spring arm holds the roll securely and makes tearing easier
Stainless steel finish looks clean and modern
Feels much sturdier and better made than cheaper versions
A couple minor things:
The arm is a little stiff at first, but loosened up slightly with use
Larger/thicker rolls can fit tightly until some paper is used
Overall, I think it’s a really good value for the money and performs exactly as advertised. One of those kitchen items that seems simple, but once you use a better-designed version, you definitely notice the difference.

This is the one!! The only paper towel holder I will ever have in my home.

I don’t usually get this excited about a paper towel holder... but THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!!
Seriously. I’ve gone through so many flimsy, annoying holders that slide around, lift up, scrape the counter, or make that awful squeaking noise when you try to tear a sheet, and this one fixes every single one of those problems. The weighted base is EVERYTHING. It’s heavy enough that it doesn’t move at all when you pull a paper towel. No sliding. No tipping. No lifting. It just stays put like it’s supposed to. And the non-slip bottom means it doesn’t scratch or drag across your counter, which is such a huge plus.
The spring-loaded arm is genius. You can actually tear a paper towel one-handed without fighting the roll or having it unravel everywhere. It keeps just enough tension so you get a clean tear every time. The design is sleek and practical. The stainless steel finish looks clean and modern, and it fits nicely with any kitchen style. It’s simple, but in a way that feels very intentional and well thought out. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the only paper towel holder I will ever buy from now on. I already want to get more for other areas of the house and this is the only kind of paper towel holder I will ever buy for my family and friends. Nothing comes close to how good this one works.
