Care

General Maintenance: Repot once the plant has become rootbound, generally every couple of years. Repot in the spring. Prune back shoots as needed.

Temperature: Thrives in warmer temperatures, between 12°C to 22°C.

Light: Needs bright indirect light, with some full sun. Watch for signs of leaf scorching. A bright windowsill is an ideal spot.

Watering: Keep consistently moist. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry. Water less frequently in the winter, but never let the plant completely dry out. Would ideally have higher humidity, which can be provided by light misting or a pebble tray.

Fertilizer: Use a diluted liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (May - Aug). Do not fertilize directly after repotting, or during the winter.

Soil: Well-draining soil is preferred. Bonsai like their soil to be on the acidic side.
