Innovacar P1 Polish Up: Finishing Compound

P1 Polish Up by Innovacar is an extremely thin car finishing polish; a latest generation formula, without silicones and suitable for the finishing stages.

• Suitable for micro-scratches: it is the ideal product to eliminate micro-scratches caused by minor polishing errors, incorrect washing, or washing in an improperly maintained automatic system.
• Suitable for swirls and holograms: these are those marks that prevent the light from reflecting perfectly on the surface. In the presence of such defects, P1 Polish Up is the ideal product, which can be used either after A1 All in One or individually, to correct minor imperfections.

How to polish the car body with P1 Polish Up:

1. Carry out all the preliminary steps to polishing such as: pre-washing, washing and chemical and mechanical decontamination of the car, for which DL Lube and the Clay Bars are recommended.
2. Shake the product before use.
3. Apply the pad to the plate, making sure it is correctly centred and firmly attached.
4. Apply the product on a medium-soft blue sponge pad without exceeding; If you have a new pad, a greater amount of product must be used with respect to a used pad. In case of a used pad, make sure it is properly clean.
5. Place the polisher cable on the shoulder to prevent any damage to the body.
6. During the switch-on and switch-off phases it is recommended to place the polisher in contact with the surface to be treated, so as to prevent splashes of product on the body and/or on the operator.
7. Polish the area of interest at minimum speed (800 Rpm), first proceeding horizontally, from right to left, treating a small portion at a time (60x40 cm). Once you have reached the opposite corner, move in the opposite direction, by moving the polisher downwards, so as to cover the previous section by 50%. Then proceed vertically, from bottom to top, along the entire area already treated, taking into account what is indicated above.
8. Gradually increase the speed (up to 2000 Rpm) and treat the area again. It is important to proceed carefully by following the method described to spread the product, prepare the polish for action and obtain a uniform and even polish.
9. After polishing the area, use a microfibre cloth and D2 Check to remove excess product and at the same time check the partial result of the polishing.
10. Proceed to treat all areas you have chosen to polish.
