Koikuchi Marudaizu soy sauce was traditionally made with whole Japanese soybeans, in keeping with the soy sauce typical of Kanazawa, with the recipe going back to the 15th century.

Halfway between Kikuchi and Usukuchi, Kanazawa soy sauce is naturally slightly sweet and has a robust umami flavour. It is known as the “makuuchi,” the delicious soy sauce. Naogen Shoyu only uses four local ingredients: whole soybeans, wheat, sea salt, and pure water from Mount Haku to produce this exceptional soy sauce, which is then fermented for one year in cedar barrels.

Naogen Shoyu

In the small town of Oono, Kanazawa has been well known as one of Japan's premier centres of Shoyu production since 1615. Oono Town meets the Sea, an inlet of Japan. Its perfect climate and high-quality water create an excellent flavour for shoyu.

Naogen was established in 1825 in Kanazawa. The company closely follows the footsteps of Ibei Naoeya, its precursor and inventor of the historical soy sauce “Oono Shoyu, invented in the town of the same name, Oono. This soy sauce was the first produced in the area thanks to fabrication methods imported from Kishu, Wakayama, during the 15th century. Slightly adjusted and modernised over time, these traditional methods remain the basis of soy sauce and soy sauce-based products produced by Naogen.

Junichiro Naoe, CEO, is the eighth generation of his family-run business. He continues his family’s golden legacy with unerring pride by continuing to innovate products of undiminished quality using the finest Japanese-sourced ingredients.

Meh
On the fence if this has helped or not. Haven't really noticed anything and I've given it 2 months. Probably won't order again.

Fun probiotic
My favorite part about this one is that it’s a one pill dose. I take more pills than ideal so anything that only requires one pill is a selling point for me. As a probiotic, I’m giving it 5 stars for meeting expectations based on the listing even though it’s probably a 4 star product for me personally. This comes in a surprisingly compact capsule. I’m not an expert of all the options available on the market currently but it’s one of the smallest shelf stable probiotics I’ve taken on top of only requiring one pill a day. There is a mild scent and taste that I assume is due to the pineapple powder. It’s not distinctly pineapple but it has a hint of the sharpness. That said, I didn’t find either the flavor or scent strong enough to be off putting. Effectiveness is a little more nebulous. I didn’t have any negative effects and my gi tract seems to be running smoothly. 25 billion cfus is lower than what I find to be an optimal dose for my system but I wanted to try it out to see if 50 billion was overkill. I think the higher dose is a better fit for me because while things were fine on this, I feel like it did see even more improvement at my prior level. That said, this could be a great option for someone who wants a little more than a low, baseline dose but may be too sensitive for the 50 billion and higher options. Value is decent. It’s not the absolute cheapest but hangs out in the bottom half of the price per dose spread I’m familiar with.

New Testament study at it’s finest
Format: Hardcover
Wow, what a book. If I could only take one book as a resource to the Bible it would be this book. Comprehensive, detailed, scholarly scaled down to average comprehension, and relevant. Did I agree with everything Dr. Wright stated? No, but this is a rock solid book that should anchor your library. It is a an enormous book— it literally weighs 4and a half pounds. At 987 pages (889 actual text pages), it is not for the faint or weak at heart. The book literally covers everything you need to know about the New Testament in the Roman world, from history and religious backgrounds to book by book studies and concluding with textual criticism, the development of the canon and the responsibilities of the Church in living the life expounded on in the scriptures. Very highly recommended.
