My Dying Bride has been one of the foremost & consistent leading lights in doom metal since their debut album 'As The Flower Withers' was released on Peaceville Records back in 1992. Influenced by acts such as Celtic Frost & Candlemass, the band's heavy atmospherics have carved a huge worldwide following over the years to stand at the pinnacle of the genre & remain one of the most instantly distinguishable metal bands.

'The Angel & The Dark River', My Dying Bride's third studio album, was released in 1995 & is considered to be among the highlights of the whole Doom Metal genre; the opus itself being a significant breakthrough release for the band. The album was recorded at the infamous Academy Studios (Paradise Lost, Anathema, Cradle of Filth) in Yorkshire, UK, with long-time associate, Mags. Expanding upon the strong mix of atmosphere & heavy doom riffing of previous albums, 'The Angel & The Dark River' was full of sprawling emotional epic tracks with flowing dynamics, which also saw My Dying Bride venturing further into clean vocal territory & to great acclaim.

This special pressing of 'The Angel & The Dark River' marks the album's thirtieth anniversary & is presented on limited Pearl Sunrise vinyl, including new half-speed audio master courtesy of Air Studios.

These are different and unique in the experience of eating a mint. The coating has a really good flavor and the minty effect is long-lasting compared to other mint options on the market! It melts off quickly in your mouth and leaves a gel capsule underneath. I wasn't too sure initially if I was to just swallow these with some water or chew them. I tried both ways. You can definitely taste the parsley oil in the capsules whether you chew them or not and you need to get some water and swallow them relatively quickly or the taste becomes a bit unpleasant. I tried swallowing them without water and they got kind of stuck in my throat so you need something to drink nearby. I don't recommend chewing them--the aftertaste is not good!

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest. It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.
