The Hollyland Capsule Antenna (Model: HL-ATN10) is an official OEM replacement and ultra-compact upgrade antenna engineered for several generations of Hollyland’s pro-grade wireless video transmitters, receivers, and transceiver monitors.

On highly active film sets, traditional paddle or whip antennas pose a constant rigging hazard—frequently snapping during fast-paced camera tracking, getting knocked out of alignment by actors, or tangling with nearby stabilizing cables. The capsule antenna eliminates these vulnerabilities entirely. By condensing the physical antenna structure down into a ultra-short "stubby" shell, this accessory delivers a ruggedized, snag-free wireless solution that keeps your camera package as streamlined as possible.

Core RF & Low-Profile Structural Features

  • Zero-Snag Miniature Architecture: Shorter and more compact than bullet-style or paddle configurations, the capsule design fits almost completely flush against the transmitter's chassis. This reduced physical footprint makes it much easier to balance the wireless unit on automated 3-axis gimbals, inside vehicle dashboard rigs, or on compact handheld mirrorless cages.

  • Impact-Armor Polycarbonate Build: The fragile internal copper RF elements are fully enclosed in a thick, injection-molded polycarbonate protective housing. This solid-state design easily shrugs off drops, bumps, and accidental impacts that would bend or destroy standard flexible antennas.

  • Omnidirectional 360-Degree Radiation: Despite its micro size, the internal antenna engineering produces a uniform, spherical RF coverage zone. This ensures steady, low-latency transmission performance, minimizing signal dropouts when a camera operator pivots, cranes, or tilts the rig rapidly away from the receiver.

  • Corrosion-Resistant RP-SMA Threading: Built with a precise Reverse Polarity SMA (RP-SMA) internal female thread. The high-tolerance brass connection establishes a rock-solid, wiggle-free physical mount onto your transmitter's RF posts, eliminating signal leakage.

System Interoperability

This universal replacement accessory is specifically tuned to operate cleanly within standard 5.1 GHz to 5.8 GHz video transmission bands, offering plug-and-play compatibility across several Hollyland lines:

  • Mars Wireless Series: Direct mechanical match for the Mars 4K, Mars 400S Pro, and Mars 300 Pro wireless transmission systems.

  • Wireless Monitor Units: Seamlessly interfaces with the Mars M1 and Mars M1 Enhanced wireless transceiver field monitors.

  • Cosmo SDI/HDMI Series: Functions as a replacement or low-profile option for the Cosmo C1 broadcast system.

On-Set Wireless Rigging Best Practice: Because micro-profile capsule antennas sit very close to the metal body of your transmitter, they have slightly less physical clearance to push signals past structural blockages. For maximum transmission distance and clarity, avoid burying the unit inside a dense metal camera cage or directly against a large V-mount battery plate. Whenever possible, mount your wireless transmitter or transceiver monitor high up on your rig so these capsule antennas have a clear, uninterrupted line-of-sight toward the receiving video village.

Amazing
Format: Paperback
It’s very academic—what I mean by that is that if you need to be well-educated in psychology to GRASP *everything*… I am not well-educated in psychology (I minored in it and love reading easier books on it), but I LOVE this book. This woman is brilliant

one of the best books I’ve read
Format: Kindle
This book is transformative in how I view everything. There are two categories: people who need to read this book and people who need to read it again.

Started w/ audiobook, now I'm ordering the print too
Format: Paperback
This book is GREAT!! The integration of theory she uses to support her claims is masterful. I began listening to the audiobook, because it was cheaper & I go through a ton of counseling & psych books. I am a grad student in social work, and I'm also a therapy client trying to heal myself. I appreciate that this book targets "chronic shame" which as a central experience to a bunch of issues. The hundreds of books and articles I've researched seem like they were mostly ALL working back to this issue. In a psychology culture that is big on cognitive and chemical solutions to mental health, the relational approach that she emphasizes is critical to the healing process. I appreciate the research she uses from object relations, affect regulation, interpersonal, etc. I purchased the hard copy because 1. I can't underline/highlight an audiobook and 2. I want a copy of the references of theorists and study's that she draws from, because they are pure gold. All therapists need to understand the contents of this book! Unless you are perfectly fine offering band aid solutions. Clients and self-helpers beware. It's not triggering in terms of content, it is activating in the sense that she describes the felt experience of shame SO WELL. I could locate my own felt sense of shame which is, by default, unpleasant. Some stabilization and a decent therapeutic connection is probably necessary before cracking this book open. But that's why I love it. I needed to go deeper and get the core issues. And this book is like a map that guides you right to it.
