Generations ago, the Onyx Crucible erupted, and the rule of the dancing girl who became a tyrant was buried under ashes.

Those in the shadow of the black volcano, freed from their shackles, scattered back to the homelands from which they were taken.

However, the mountain no longer stands cool and silent. In the darkness of the new moon, hellish fire pulses once more from under the volcanoÕs cursed kaldera.

It is within this fire that the ruthless Sickle-Dancer stirs in her soot-darkened tomb, gathering her strength to once again subjugate those foolish enough to flee from the grip of her six clawed hands.

ADVENTURE SUMMARY

Kaldera of the Sickle-Dancer is a 3rd-level dungeon delve for use with the Shadowdark RPG.

In this adventure, characters will lay siege to the circuitous volcano lair of a belly dancer turned marilith sorceress. The charactersÕ motivations are to put the Sickle-Dancer to the sword, plunder her volcanic jewels, and claim her cruel magical treasure.
