Ngoài soju và makkolli là hai loại quốc tửu được yêu thích nhiều thì ở xứ xở Kimchi còn có một số lại rượu đặc sản được người Hàn ưa chuộng không kém, điển hình như là Rượu Myungjak Bokbunja đến từ Kook Soon Dang, nhà máy sản xuất bia rượu truyền thống nổi tiếng với nhiều năm kinh nghiệm.

Đây là loại rượu được lên men từ những trái phúc bồn tử chất lượng hạng nhất trong nước, trồng ở phía tây gió biển tại vùng đất Gochang-gun - nơi được UNESCO công nhận là khu dự trữ sinh quyển. Sau khi lựa chọn kĩ lưỡng qua 8 mùa thu hoạch và chỉ chọn những trái bokbunja đậm có vị mạnh đạt yêu cầu thì nhanh chóng đông lạnh và cho vào tủ lạnh bảo quản để đảm bảo giữ nguyên hương vị tươi mới ban đầu.

Sau khi được lên men bằng nấm men và trải qua thời gian ủ tối ưu, rượu sẽ có màu đỏ sẫm ngả tím với mùi vị thơm rất đặc trưng. Sự cân bằng hài hòa giữa vị chua ngọt của bokbunja (phúc bồn tử) lấp đầy trong khoang miệng của bạn sẽ mang đến cảm giác mạnh, đậm đà khi vừa uống rồi dần dần chuyển sạng nhẹ, để lại dư vị vô cùng độc đáo, mang đến cho người dùng cảm giác tươi mát đầy sảng khoái.
