The ASICS GT-2160 White Pure Silver blends a nod to early-2010s running culture with today’s light, breathable comfort. Built for everyday wear and steady training, this silhouette delivers a clean, versatile aesthetic that transitions from morning jogs to casual city strolls without missing a beat.

What makes this model stand out

  • Breathable foundation: a white mesh base keeps airflow steady, helping your feet stay cool during longer sessions.
  • Premium support with heritage detail: calf leather overlays in Pure Silver crown the toebox and eyestays, wrap the sides, and anchor the heel for a structured fit that holds up under daily wear.
  • Striking color accents: black and Pale Blue accents on the overlays and side panels give the shoe a retro-futuristic vibe that’s easy to style with denim, joggers, or athleisure.
  • Classic GEL cushioning: the midsole uses GEL technology to deliver smoother landings and comfortable rebounds, helping you push through longer runs or busy days on your feet.
  • Distinctive branding: Gel branding at the rear and a bold ASICS mark on the tongue, with GT-2160 branding on the lateral heel for a subtle performance-oriented flair.
  • Dynamic lateral detail: the upper’s color bleed into the midsole on the lateral side creates a streamlined, kinetic look that’s uniquely eye-catching.
  • Durable outsole: a black outsole anchors the design with grip and longevity, handling everything from pavement to light trails.
  • Limited edition timing: released April 27, 2024, with a suggested retail price of $120—an approachable option for adding a retro-inspired performance trainer to your rotation.

Why runners and style-minded shoppers love it

This GT-2160 isn’t just about looks. The white mesh keeps things breathable during warm-weather runs, while the leather overlays provide reassuring durability and structure for daily wear. A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.
