The HD/Perf Street Sprung clutch kit, designated ZM2-HDSS, is engineered to provide excellent performance and durability for street and occasional race use. With a weight of 12.5 lbs and a torque capacity of 245 ft/lbs (36% over OE), this kit offers a balance of strength and usability.

Featuring ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, this kit utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, minimize deflection, and extend clutch life. The pressure plate undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for unmatched performance and reliability. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency, enhancing clutch operation.

The clutch disc, constructed from organic materials, boasts a diameter of 8.8 inches (224 millimeters). These premium organic materials with high copper content offer better heat transfer, reducing fade, and increasing durability. The steel-backed lining provides greater burst strength and reliability. Reduced marcel allows for faster shift action, complementing the ACT pressure plate while maintaining strength and reliability.

With a light to moderate pedal effort and smooth positive engagement, accompanied by OE to mild gear rattle, this clutch kit provides a comfortable yet responsive driving experience suitable for both daily driving and occasional track use.

ACT's meticulous engineering ensures precise assembly and balance, with 100% clamp load testing and dynamic computer balancing for smooth high RPM reliability. Backed by a 12-month warranty, this kit reflects ACT's commitment to quality and performance.
