Short and very pleasant songs taken from the late medieval and Renaissance polyphonic repertoire of England, France, and Italy, performed by a vocal ensemble composed of six soloists, three women and three men, capable of offering such a variety of timbres and colors that one does not regret the absence of commonly understood instruments. Some very well-known pieces have become part of the historical heritage of European music.
