Every year billions of animals, from housecats to racehorses to pythons, are treated by veterinarians. The use of veterinary science to treat the health of animals has a long history; for the past five centuries it has developed as our understanding of animals' fundamental biology, pathology, and pharmacology has grown. Rapid global changes expected in the twenty-first century will require the profession to respond proactively, embracing new challenges and opportunities.

James Yeates, Chief Veterinary Officer of the RSPCA, introduces the field of veterinary science, covering the history of its scientific and clinical aspects from early practices to recent challenges such as the outbreak of BSE and antibiotic resistance, and considering the differences between human medicine and veterinary medicine. Analyzing the key roles played by diagnosis, treatment, and prevention with regard to the health of farm animals and pets, he relates this to wider aspects concerning public health, such as zoonoses (diseases that jump from animals to humans). Yeates also covers recent "One Health" approaches involving the health of both humans and animals, seen as synergistic, and discusses the challenges for the future of veterinary medicine, including the ethical dilemmas in balancing the interests of owners and animals when they do not coincide.

Does what it says... And surely better than hanging cords to catch your feet on!
Size: 36"
Does what it says... And surely better than hanging cords to catch your feet on! I've caught my feet on the cables hanging behind my desk way too many times. Things get unplugged, cables get strained, & in some cases, connections are damaged. This product prevents all of that. Not that this really "Organizes" the cables, as much as keeps them managed in a way that doesn't involve hanging onto the floor or behind the desk for your feet to catch. No regrets so far, beyond not ordering it sooner. I definitely recommend & would purchase again.

Sturdy and effective cable tray!
Size: 36"
This is a high quality cable tray that's sturdy and easy to install and use. It can hold a bunch of cables, and even heavier things like power strips securely. The installation process was easy, and I found the instructions to be sufficiently clear, once set up I found it a breeze to route cables and a power bar that I had attached to the underside of my desk with VHB tape. I think this is a good value for the quality of the product and would happily recommend this to others who want a mesh type cable management system like this!

Good Sized Cable Management Tray
Size: 36"
Well made and sizeable cable management system. Pretty easy to assemble and install. The cable tray attaches under the desk/table top with two bracket and associated screws. You'll need about 4 " - 6" clear from the back edge on the under side of the top to make this work. Has a metal plate in the bottom of the netting for setting a power strip.
