VMS CM05 Paper Shaper. With paper shaper you will be able to create all kinds of accessories for your vehicle using plain paper! Created objects can be separated from the model for easy painting and the liquid doesn't stain the model as much as generic paper media! Paper Shaper is a great alternative to classic adhesives when it comes to working with paper. It will allow you to instantly soak and precisely shape paper and similar materials without the danger of tearing them. Being reversible VMS Paper Shaper also allows you to create detachable objects which can make painting easier! Make canvas covers, tarps, masking nets even capes and flags in the wind! Product is fully reversible with VMS Clean Slate. IMPORTANT: The acrylic product is susceptible to low temperatures and mustn't be frozen! Store and handle in room temperature. Combine with: Paper. Recommended techniques: Brush. How to proceed with Paper Shaper? Pour some fluid in a receptacle and dip the paper in it as you do with decals. Flip the sheet so that it's soaked well. Place the paper over the target area and start moulding it. Use your fingers initially, switch to the brush as you progress with your work. Once the paper is dry you may paint over the entire model the usual way. If you want a detachable canvas or tarp you will need to reactivate dry paper with Clean Slate remover – soak for minimum 30 minutes – thicker creations will need 1h. Once soaked the creation may be separated from the target area. Separated creation needs to dry and it's a good idea to give it a few coats of acrylic resin before painting – resin will hide any irregularities such as stray paper fibres which may elude you prior painting. You may use high solids VMS Acrylic Binders for quick results – 2 to 3 coats are fine for a nice smooth look. The resin must be airbrushed not brushed! Please refer to the video tutorial to see how it's done. What kinds of paper can I shape? Virtually all kinds of paper out there also other materials like fabrics, fibres, gauze (to make masking nets) etc. Please note, all types of paper have their kinks. For instance tissue paper shapes very easily but when painted exhibits irregular surface which may be undesired in most scenarios. Rule of thumb: the thicker the paper the more time it takes to shape it and the higher the risk of bad result. We recommend using thin paper grades (around 50 grammes) for best results. If fine papers is unavailable to you we recommend trying our tested and cost effective WFU modelling paper. This kind of paper shapes quite as easily as tissue paper but has nice and clean clean surface when dry similar to not so flexible copy paper. Feel free to experiment with different kinds of paper to find a sweet spot for your application. Paper sticks to fingers and tears in the process, how to avoid this? If your finger stick to paper simply wet them with the fluid – paper will be intact. Use finger only initially, switch to the brush as you progress with your work. There is dry fluid residue over the model. Use VMS Clean Slate to easily remove the stains without any damage to plastic. I poked pin holes in the paper while shaping it but I still want to use the resulting paper creation. You can fill the holes using VMS Acrylic Binders (structuring type).

Mixed results using this auto can opener...
Color: Green
I had high hopes for this can opener, but was let down. This can opener failed me half of the times I tried to use it. For some reason it wouldn't cut through the paper surrounding the cans. I tried it on small, medium and large cans. It worked best on larger cans. I got it because I liked the idea of opening cans without having to contend with the sharp lids that inevitably fall back into the opened cans. It is unsanitary at best and a safety hazard at worst. On the plus side it is rechargeable, so no battery worries there. It fits nicely in the hand for ease of use. It appears to be of sturdy construction, so it's a high quality item. And being small it will store easily. The price is right and it represents a good value for your hard earned dollars.

Hands Free Operation; Safe Cutting
Color: Green
I used to have a manual (as in turn-the-crank) side-cutting can opener really liked it. It eventually wore out and I had relegated myself to the standard hand-crank top-cut version that often left a sharp lid and sometimes a little burr or sharp point where the cut wasn't complete and the you had to the tear/bend the lid off. With this mostly hands-free Side Cut Can Opener, sharp edges will be few, if any. I say "mostly hands-free" because you do have to position the opener on the can and push the button to start it and, when it finishes, you have to push the button again to tell it to stop. On the demo can in my video, the lip was such that the cut was right through that edge such that there were no sharp edges. It is possible that some cans may be designed such that the cutter falls below that rim and cuts the can edge in a way that leaves dull lid but a sharp can. These should be rare, but good to watch out for in case you get one. Always assume edges are sharp until you verify otherwise. You'll note in my video that the lid was a little difficult to remove. Some of that may be learning curve with this new opener, and some it may be that is just how it is! I accept that and choose to move forward using this new, safer can opener. Recommended.

Very dangerous metal shavings!!!
Negative stars if I could. This is a very dangerous product. It worked well for a while. But then it quit effectively removing the lid instead I got little tiny shavings of metal around the edge. These shavings of metal go into the food and very dangerous. So this was a waste of money and incredibly dangerous. I am throwing it in the trash today.

Practical and easy to use
This electric can opener performs its function well and gets the job done effortlessly. With just the press of a button, it opens cans quickly and smoothly—which is very useful, especially if you prefer not to exert physical force. The design is comfortable to handle and does not take up much space in the kitchen. The battery life is good, and it recharges without any issues. Overall, it is a functional product that makes an everyday chore much easier.
