About the Author

I was born in Tillamook, Oregon, a place where everyone was your friend. It is 9 miles from the Pacific Ocean and is home to world famous Tillamook cheese and dairy products. I was raised on a dairy farm and our milk was sold to the creamery.

I met my husband at Northwest Nazarene University and we have been married 60 years. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. My faith is the life-force by which I live. I am grateful to God for giving me the gift of being able to put words on paper and people enjoy reading them. For 13 years I was the lead teacher of infants in child day care. I believe that is where I got the inspiration to write children's stories.
