It’s hard to restart your life, when the past keeps cutting like a knife…

On returning to his home town of Brisbane, intensive care paramedic, Jonothan Byrne, wants to put his past behind him and forge ahead to a brighter future. But fate conspires against him. A juggernaut of a reunion heads his way, and only he can recognise a chance meeting for what it is: a terrorist plot. Will he be able to thwart their plans, or is he destined to become another victim? The clock is ticking…

Written by an award-winning author, who is also a critical care paramedic, this gripping story is told in real time over thirteen hours from the viewpoint of various characters. On a day that starts with Jono just wanting to fly under the radar, it soon soars out of control, trapping him on a flight towards the unthinkable. So, strap yourself in and stow away your tray tables, you’re in for one hell of a heart-stopping ride!

Harry Colfer is the pseudonym of an experienced critical care paramedic with twenty years of on-road experience gained in both England and Australia. With his role being one of the highest trained prehospital clinicians, he regularly attends cardiac arrests, multi-system trauma and major incidents. As a way of dealing with his inevitable demons, he embraced the cathartic paramedic custom of storytelling and began writing in his spare time. Using his knowledge of the subject area, he created a series of short stories, Ambo Tales from the Frontline, eventually publishing one for each of the thirty-two codes used to categorise emergency calls. Although his stories are fictional, the clinical details and interventions are all accurate, thereby giving the reader an entertaining education in the frontline emergency world. Beyond this, his main protagonist, Jono, often says and does the things Harry wishes he could get away with, and that’s perhaps why he goes by his pen name. In addition to winning awards for his short stories, Harry has published three full-length novels featuring the same characters: a murder-mystery, Dead Regular, and two action-adventure thrillers, Beneath Contempt and High Acuity. This year he hopes to publish the fourth and final instalment, Show Cause.

Classic look, great feel and great price.
Color: Black, Size: X-Large
Super comfy and casual, but classy enough that it can be worn out. I find this shirt extremely comfortable, it is a classic look and is very flattering. I wear a size 14 and the XL is loose but not baggy. It washes well, does not wrinkle if I get it out of the dryer and folded in appropriate time, and the material is a good weight for the cost of the shirt. I would likely buy again as this is a great summer staple.

Runs true to size and well made!
Color: Black, Size: Medium
I am very pleased with the size and cut of this top. I hesitated on sizing (at 5'1" and 105 lb) because I like a looser fit and am sometimes given different size recommendations. Many times the tops are too large and must be altered or simply passed on to thrift stores. This shirt in a medium is perfect in its fit, flows nicely. The neckline is not too low, but more like a shirt with a couple of top buttons unbuttoned- no gap. The sleeve length is good for me as my shoulders are a bit narrow. (I checked and no way to remove the stitches that hold the sleeve into a cuff. They are deeply embedded into this soft opaque fabric that has some stretch. (Even with the best of seam rippers and sharp eyesight!)I think the rolled cuff is cute! Top drapes well and is a great length for jeans or shorts- dressy casual wear, with its perfect fabric thickness. I really like the black color. I would not wear it with leggings because of the length, but jeggings are great with it. The little contrasting buttons are a nice touch. Great value buy.
