This LED downlight bundle is an excellent choice for large-scale construction and renovation projects. It includes fifty top-quality, IP20-rated fittings, ideal for indoor applications. The downlight also has a brushed chrome finish that matches various design trends, making blending in with existing decor and furniture pieces easy. Furthermore, its open-can design ensures that the bulb you use with it will last long!
Our LED downlight is insulation-coverable, allowing loft insulation to be placed loosely over its rear. However, this is only possible when paired with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w.
This downlight is built with a GU10 lamp holder, which can be used with any GU10 bulb, but it requires a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch to utilise its dimming function. The GU10 bulb comes in three LED colours: cool white, natural white, and warm white, which are perfect for task lighting or ambient lighting. In addition, this downlight is trouble-free to install due to its twist-and-lock mechanism, push-fit terminal blocks, and mains-powered design.
This recessed fixture is not just a light source; it's a beacon of safety. It's fire-rated to provide 30, 60, and 90 minutes of protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. A fire-rated downlight like this is designed with an intumescent pad that inflates when exposed to a specific temperature, sealing tiny crevices and preventing the fire from spreading. With this downlight, rest assured that safety is a top priority.
