★ "Partridge proves once again that nonfiction can be every bit as dramatic as the best fiction."* America's war in Vietnam. In over a decade of bitter fighting, it claimed the lives of more than 58,000 American soldiers and beleaguered four US presidents. More than forty years after America left Vietnam in defeat in 1975, the war remains controversial and divisive both in the United States and abroad. The history of this era is complex; the cultural impact extraordinary. But it's the personal stories of eight people--six American soldiers, one American military nurse, and one Vietnamese refugee--that create the heartbeat of Boots on the Ground. From dense jungles and terrifying firefights to chaotic helicopter rescues and harrowing escapes, each individual experience reveals a different facet of the war and moves us forward in time. Alternating with these chapters are profiles of key American leaders and events, reminding us of all that was happening at home during the war, including peace protests, presidential scandals, and veterans' struggles to acclimate to life after Vietnam. With more than one hundred photographs, award-winning author Elizabeth Partridge's unflinching book captures the intensity, frustration, and lasting impacts of one of the most tumultuous periods of American history. *Kirkus Reviews, starred review of Marching for FreedomBinding Type: Hardcover

Great chew toy for all size pups
I had to replace a headless / tailless T-Rex. Bargain - I bought a five pack of the large Dinos for less than a three pack of the small ones.

Favorite Chew Toy for Multiple Dogs
My dogs love these! My dog, Tucker (RIP) decided this was his favorite thing to chew (he had the Stegosaurus) and what was left of those passed down to the next 2 dogs who also love them. Since they had gotten a bit small over the years, I gifted them with a 5-pack. I thought it would be multiple types of dinosaurs, but they were all Brontosauruses (which is fine - those are large and should last quite a long time). Both my 54 lb. dog and 25 lb. dog love these! They gnaw on them regularly and there's almost no sign of wear. So, although they're a bit pricey, you should get a lot of use over a long period of time.

I have 6 dogs that love these
I used to manage a dog boarding facility. Thousands of dogs. Maybe one or two had ever had nylabones that they actually chewed on. I’m on my second pack of dogs and every dog that I have had, loves these. And their teeth are unusually clean the vet has always said. Saved me a ton on dental work for dogs over the years I definitely believe. Be careful, they are like legos to step on.
