Killed vaccine
Pre-farrow vaccine for healthy pregnant sows and gilts against diarrheal disease in their neonatal pigs caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDv). The vaccine contains an adjuvant to help potentiate the immune response.
To use: Shake well and administer 2 mL intramuscularly. Pregnant swine being vaccinated for the first time should receive 2 doses with the first dose being administered 5 weeks prior to farrowing and the second two weeks prior to farrowing. After that, pregnant swine should be vaccinated two weeks before each subsequent farrowing. 21-day slaughter withdrawal.
