Four audio tapes of her story were created. As I recorded, I listened to her. While typing each recording, I heard her. During the editing, I felt her.This is a book of my mother's memoirs. The title is her own. "Memories Of My Life In Bits And Pieces" Listening to her tell her story was the beautiful part. The typing was the hardest. Each taping was an hour in length. The book is done word-for-word as she spoke. I compiled, edited and published this labor of love for my mother, Sameerah Islam. Special thanks to Oona Pilot who did a beautiful job on the first cover. This is the second cover. Mother chose the color and design.
