These beauties have been specially made for Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop by Canadian leather crafter Jason Buike (@j.a.b._leatherworks).

Store your Field Notes notebooks in style with these protective sheaths made from high quality Italian buttero vegetable tanned leather. Our collection comes in a range of Mrs Blackwell-approved colours: brown, black, olive green, and orange.

Each of these sheaths has been commissioned with a 'makers choice' thread, so combined with the nature of leather, it means no two are alike.

These uniquie sheaths snuggly hold one of your Field Notes notebook in your backpack, handbag or statchel. They're also great for when you're out on a long walk to protect your notebook in your pocket. If you're travelling, you can pop up to three in one sheath, just slip on a band to secure them.

Jason’s studio (@j.a.b._leatherworks) is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. If you look closely, you can see the province of Manitoba in the studio logo which is embossed on every sheath. We love collaborating with artists and makers from around the world to bring you unique pieces like this.

It was definitely hard to put these on the shelf, but Mrs Blackwell knew she couldn’t keep the whole collection to herself! It’s too good not to share with the world.
