The time: 1000 B.C.; the location is half-way up the west coast of Denmark’s Jutland Peninsula, in a tiny village called Hjerting. Our story follows one villager, Sigurd Jensen, as he navigates life as a shipbuilder and sailor, painting a vivid portrait of what life may have looked like in ancient northern Europe. As the world opens up to him, he embarks on a journey of incredible twists and extraordinary adventures.
